Prosthetic Applications

Tooth deficiency affects people in terms of function (inability to chew), aesthetics (image) and phonetics (inability to pronounce sounds correctly). In addition to all these, it reduces the individual's comfort of life by preventing social communication.

However, thanks to the developing prosthetic applications, all these deficiencies can be easily eliminated and the patient can achieve a healthy mouth, dental health and smile.

Prostheses that can be used to replace missing teeth and tissues are as follows;

Fixed Prostheses:
They are prostheses made with the support of the patient's healthy teeth, fixed by the physician, and cannot be put on or removed by the patient.

Crowns, bridges and implant-supported prostheses are in this group.

Crowns are prostheses applied on individual tooth.

Bridges are applied by making a bridge connection between more than one tooth.

There are also fixed prostheses made on the implant. These prostheses are fixed on the implants by sticking or screwing and cannot be removed by the patient.

Removable Prostheses:
They are full or partial dentures that can be put on and removed by the patient.

They are useful solutions for patients who have a lot of bone loss in implant-supported removable prostheses and where fixed prostheses or more implants cannot be applied.

Hybrid Prostheses:
They are implant-supported prostheses that are periodically removed by the physician and checked, but cannot be removed by the patient. They are very useful solutions for completely edentulous patients.

Their applicability has become much easier with All on Four or All on Six applications.
